New Teaching Building on the HSF Meißen Campus
Auer Weber Associates, LLC
For the new construction of an academic building on the campus of the University of Public Administration and Law (HSF) in Meissen, Auer Weber developed a clearly structured building that integrates seamlessly into the existing campus layout.
The design creates a restrained yet contemporary architectural style for the educational facility. The building organizes classrooms and common areas within a logically structured spatial layout that facilitates orientation and short distances. Transparent facades and open ground-floor zones strengthen the connection between interior and exterior spaces and promote integration into the campus.
The spatial structure is characterized by clean geometries and a minimalist use of materials. Light-colored surfaces and expansive glazing create a calm, focused atmosphere that underscores the character of a modern academic building. At the same time, communal spaces are created that encourage interaction and socializing.
The visualizations show the building in the context of the campus as well as in use. They convey the scale, spatial clarity, and atmosphere of a learning environment that combines functional requirements with architectural precision.
