The GURSCHÄ Development on Gotthardstrasse in Andermatt
hts architecture inc.
Set against the alpine backdrop of Andermatt, the HTS project creates a high-quality residential complex that harmoniously blends architecture, landscape, and atmosphere into a cohesive whole. Nestled within the Swiss mountain landscape, the design responds sensitively to the topography, lighting conditions, and materials, translating these elements into a clear, contemporary architectural language.
The buildings blend naturally into their surroundings, and their scale and layout echo the structure of the site. Generous window openings, varied facades, and precisely positioned volumes create an architecture that is compelling both from a distance and in detail. The transitions between interior and exterior are designed to be fluid, allowing for diverse views of the surrounding landscape.
Inside, the focus is on high-quality living spaces with a clear, serene design. Natural materials, warm surfaces, and strategically placed lighting define the atmosphere and create a high quality of life. The interiors are designed to offer both privacy and openness, consistently extending the connection to the alpine surroundings.
Our architectural visualizations aim to convey these qualities with precision while maintaining an atmospheric quality. In addition to depicting the buildings within the context of the landscape, we placed special emphasis on showcasing light, materials, and spatial effects. The images not only reveal the architectural structure but also bring to life the unique atmosphere of the site and the quality of the living spaces.
The combination of exterior perspectives and interior visualizations creates a comprehensive picture of the project. While the exterior views emphasize the integration into the alpine landscape and the architectural clarity, the interiors convey the materiality, scale, and character of the living spaces in detail.
The visualizations thus support the communication of a project characterized by restraint, precision, and quality. HTS Andermatt represents a form of living that strikes a balance between architecture and landscape, developing a distinctive, contemporary interpretation of alpine residential architecture.
