As part of the refurbishment and extension of an apartment building that forms an integral part of the site development from the 1980s in Winterthur Seen, the focus is on a 77-metre-long southern building block that runs along the central green area above the parking garage. The aim of this project is to ensure the harmonious and unconstrained integration of the energy-efficient refurbishment and the extension into the existing buildings on the site. Particular attention is paid to ensuring that the external appearance, volumetry, materialization and colour scheme of the existing building flow seamlessly into the further development. This approach aims to maintain architectural continuity while implementing contemporary energy standards in order to achieve a sustainable and aesthetically pleasing transformation of the apartment building. As part of this project, we created these visualizations for the design by the renowned architectural firm Lüscher-Lüscher Architekten to clearly present the planned refurbishment, extension and seamless integration into the existing site development.
