Drei Schwestern am Hafengrenzweg Münster
MAAS & PARTNER Architekten
The "Three Sisters" on Hafengrenzweg in Münster are not just a name for successive waves, but represent a unique urban development figure consisting of three striking office buildings. The origin of this naming lies in the challenge of developing an architectural design for these three buildings that not only takes into account their position in the urban space, but also shows a special relationship to each other.
The outstanding feature of the "Three Sisters" is their well thought-out positioning in the urban space and the sophisticated connections between interior and exterior spaces. Flowing transitions create a harmonious unity, while clear address formations lend the buildings an individual presence. The architecture is characterised by both extroverted and introverted qualities that create a multi-faceted overall picture.
This impressive project was developed as part of a workshop process that involved the expertise of two other renowned architectural firms and a landscape planner. In the course of this process, each of the "sisters" was given its very own identity, which means that the buildings can not only be seen as part of a unit, but also as independent architectural characters with unique features and forms of expression. In this way, the "Three Sisters" not only embody a harmonious combination of architecture and urban planning, but also an individual development that does justice to the character of each building.
This impressive visualisation of the "Three Sisters" on Hafengrenzweg in Münster was created for the renowned architectural firm Maas&Partner, and it conveys not only the harmonious combination of architecture and urban planning, but also the unique identity inherent in each individual building.
