Einsatztrainingszentren für die Generalzolldirektion

Goldbeck

The Federal Institute for Real Estate (BImA) has commissioned the construction company Goldbeck with the planning and construction of ten training centers for the General Customs Directorate, which represents the largest order in Goldbeck's history. These new customs buildings are characterized by their ecological and economic sustainability. In order to make the design of the project more tangible and vivid for all parties involved, Loomn Architectural Visualizations was commissioned by Goldbeck to create a detailed aerial visualization of the project. This visualization should help to make the planned training centers more imaginable for the viewer and convey the overall concept more clearly.

Goldbeck is building ten new training centers for customs throughout Germany on behalf of BImA at locations such as Garching, Kümmersbruck, Eppingen, Beckum, Heiligenhaus, Walsrode, Griesheim, Stahnsdorf, Chemnitz and Neumünster. Each center covers an area of 13,500 square meters and includes a sports hall, a training building and a shooting range. Construction work will begin at different times depending on the location, with completion planned from the end of 2027.

One concept, ten implementations

Thanks to a standardized planning and construction method, the training centers will be implemented identically at all locations, with a focus on sustainability, cost-effectiveness and high quality. Holger Hentschel, member of the BImA Executive Board, emphasizes: “High-quality training conditions are an essential contribution to the appreciation of customs officers, who play an important role in our country. In Goldbeck, we have found an innovative partner that builds training centers of consistently high quality throughout Germany.”

Serial construction: Customs buildings by system

Goldbeck's systematized construction method makes it possible to erect buildings in series. The main construction elements are industrially prefabricated in our own production facilities and then assembled on site. This high level of standardization and prefabrication makes serial construction for customs possible. In addition, the construction method conserves resources, which leads to sustainable results. Jan-Hendrik Goldbeck, Managing Partner of Goldbeck, describes the project as a major undertaking throughout Germany: “The efficiency of this project lies in the logic: plan once, build ten times. With our systematic construction method, we are creating high-quality training centers for customs in a short space of time.”

Goldbeck was able to prevail in a Europe-wide tendering process. The bidders had the freedom to propose innovative methods and materials for the serial construction project. Holger Hentschel from BImA emphasizes that Goldbeck was awarded the contract due to the outstanding planning and construction quality as well as the most economical offer.

Innovative sustainability solutions

In addition to the high quality and efficiency of the buildings, the construction program for customs places a special focus on sustainability and climate protection. The buildings meet the EGB 40 standard and are certified according to the Assessment System for Sustainable Building (BNB).

A comprehensive photovoltaic solution ensures that the buildings are virtually self-sufficient. Electricity is generated not only via the roof surfaces, but also via the facades of the buildings. Solar-powered carports supplement the energy generation and make it possible to supply electric vehicles with renewable electricity at 825 charging points throughout Germany.
